Premium Exterior Spar Varnish

Envista Water-Borne Urethane is a high solids, solvent free, low odor polyurethane finish that has virtually no yellowing, unlike many other polyurethanes. It has excellent scuff and mar resistance, it also has very good water and chemical resistance. It gives a very nice smooth finish that is very easy to clean.

Envista Water-Borne Urethane is a great finish to use on exterior furniture, ceilings, and anywhere a high build finish is desired.

Available in 1QT, 1GAL, 5GAL & 55GAL drum.

Application Instructions:

Stir container thoroughly before using. Do not shake in a power shaker. For best results apply material using an airless sprayer with a no. 10 fine finish tip. Material may also be applied using a soft bristled varnish brush or paint applicator pad. We do not recommend applying Envista Urethane with a roller as that may create bubbles. Allow the finish to dry thoroughly before reapplying (approximately 2 hours depending on environmental conditions). Sand between coats with 120-220 grit sandpaper. In most cases 2 coats are sufficient.

Apply each coat of the Envista Urethane at 3-6 wet mils. After the second coat wait overnight or 10 hours to pack or to put furniture together, and be sure to use 1/4” or 1/16” foam between the wood to ensure the finish does not stick together. Do not stack face to face until finish has cured properly for 48 hours.

If used outside allow to cure for three days before putting it outside.
